About Alice
Hi my name is Alice and I've been learning German since I was 11! I loved learning languages so much that I completed a degree in German & Hispanic Studies in 2014. I lived in Mallorca, Valencia & Vienna during my time at University. I loved experiencing all of the different cultures, and honing my language skills of course! Studying languages has enabled me to build a successful career for myself, now working as an IT Project Manager, with past experience in Customer Service & Marketing. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, long hikes and dog walks, and travelling to new places.

Currently I am providing lessons remotely, but I am happy to provide in-person lessons if requested. I am happy to teach beginners - intermediate speakers, and I tend to focus on spoken German and pronunciation and vocabulary. All of my lessons/content is personalised to the individual learner, based on if they are learning for personal reasons, or if they are studying for an exam. I understand what it's like to prepare for an exam - verbal & written! I studied German & Spanish at university - I understand the jumps from GCSE to A-Level, and A-Level to Degree. Though I don't currently work in a German-speaking role, I have done in the past and I now work in a fast-paced Project Management role. The great thing about language learning is that it gives you the option to be flexible! My lessons can be 30 mins to an hour long - depending on the learner's requirements.
