Sabine is an excellent teacher. Lessons with her a fun and enjoyable. Although I require a very specific training in German (I am learning veterinary German so I can practice in Germany) Sabine provides suitable and engaging exercises. I can feel that there is a lot of thought put into every lesson!

We enlisted the support of Sabine for our daughters fourth year studies of National 5 German at secondary school. She didn't have German in her S3 timetable and was behind her peers at the beginning of term. The early weeks suggested Sabine's client base wasn't exclusively school pupils, with her tuition aimed at taking on a broad understanding of the language, not simply school kids expected to be able to regurgitate key terms, phrases and words come test(s) time. I'd speculate Sabine moulded her content accordingly in line with the work emanating from the school on a week to week basis, though suspect she has still afforded further knowledge and understanding than the classroom have done at the same time. She has certainly punctuated the weekly tuition sessions with homework assignments, supported listening tasks with audio recordings of correct pronunciations and been generally proactive in supporting our daughters efforts. If I had to go looking for a negative, for balance, sessions were reliant on a strong internet signal at both ends - learning with Sabine is via zoom rather than in person. By no means does that warrant dropping Sabine down to four stars however. She has taken a teenager with little prospect of having anything to show for a year spent in a different language class to her S3 one, gotten her to a grade C at prelims and on track for a target grade B in the upcoming final exams.

Sabine is fantastic. She is so patient and makes one feel at ease right away. I was initially nervous about speaking German, but she always finds something positive to say. I find lessons with her so uplifting and fun and my confidence and language skills have grown significantly. She's also thoughtful and will go above and beyond to find resources that help in learning the language. I can't recommend her more highly.

Learning German with Sabine has been such a great experience. She's super flexible and always adapts the lessons to what I need or feel like working on that day. The sessions are not only helpful but genuinely fun—I actually look forward to them!

What I appreciate most is her patience and constant encouragement. She creates a relaxed, no-pressure environment where it's totally okay to make mistakes, which has made a huge difference in my confidence. I’ve improved so much without even realizing it sometimes.
