About Simran
Hi there! So I've studied German and French for nearly 7 years and achieved 9s in both languages at GCSE and A*s in both at A-level. I'm currently a second year university student who is taking German as part of my degree so I spend a lot of time immersed in German culture and history and speak the language daily.

I mainly focus on speaking skills and developing my students' conversational German and have tutored 4 GCSE students in the past. One way that I structure my lessons is by asking the student for a specific topic/ theme that they need work on and centering a discussion around it. Building on this, I also have a bank of photocards and short articles that the student can prepare and we can talk around, an aspect of both the GCSE and A-level oral exam.
