About Muna

I am a Politics and International Relations graduate from SOAS University of London, one of the world's leading institutions for the study of politics, culture, and society. Having achieved an A* in Edexcel Politics and an A in OCR Religious Studies at A-Level myself, I have an in-depth, first-hand understanding of exactly what these courses demand and what it takes to excel in them.
With 4 years of tutoring experience, I specialise exclusively in Edexcel Politics and OCR Religious Studies at A-Level, meaning my knowledge of the course content, assessment objectives, and mark schemes is thorough and up to date. My students benefit from targeted, expert guidance that is firmly rooted in the specific requirements of their exam board.
I am committed to providing a professional, reliable, and supportive learning environment for every student I work with. Whether in-person or online, my lessons are structured, focused, and tailored to each individual. I take pride in the progress my students make, having successfully guided students from a C to an A grade, and I am dedicated to helping every student reach their full potential.

About the lesson

As a SOAS graduate with A* in Edexcel Politics and an A in OCR Religious Studies, I bring both academic excellence and 3 years of hands-on tutoring experience to every lesson.

My sessions are discussion-based at their core. I believe the best way to master Politics and Religious Studies is to think critically, argue confidently, and engage deeply with the material, just as examiners expect. Rather than passive note-taking, we explore ideas together, challenge assumptions, and build the analytical skills that examiners reward.
Each 1-hour lesson typically combines three key elements:

Essay practice: tackling real exam questions, building structure, and developing a compelling argument
Past paper focus: familiarising students with Edexcel and OCR mark schemes so they know exactly what's needed for top marks
Targeted discussion: unpacking complex political concepts and religious/ethical debates in a way that sticks

I tailor every session to the individual student's needs, whether that's plugging knowledge gaps, improving essay technique, or building exam confidence. I have a strong track record of tangible results, including students who have progressed from a C to an A grade.
My lessons are aimed at A-Level students (ages 16 to 18) studying Edexcel Politics and/or OCR Religious Studies, and are available both in-person and online.
