About Oakley
I am a passionate piano tutor with 8 years of experience teaching students from school, college, and working professional backgrounds. I enjoy helping students learn piano in a simple and enjoyable way. My teaching approach focuses on clear communication, patience, and understanding each student’s goals.
I create personalized lesson plans that match their level and help them progress step by step. I focus on building strong basics like finger technique, rhythm, and note reading before moving to advanced skills. Along with piano, I also teach music theory, ear training, and rhythm practice to support overall musical understanding.
My strength is simplifying complex concepts and making learning stress-free. I guide students to build confidence, improve consistency, and develop effective practice habits. I aim to create a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable and motivated.

My teaching methodology emphasizes personalized, inspiring, and flexible lessons. I believe piano education should be fun, motivating, and tailored to each student’s abilities and goals. Through consistent communication, I understand each student’s strengths, challenges, and interests, which allows me to design lessons that are engaging, effective, and meaningful.
I focus on creativity by encouraging students to improvise, compose, and explore different musical styles, helping them develop artistic confidence and a personal musical voice. Flexibility ensures lessons are adapted to the student’s pace, skill level, and preferred learning style, creating a productive and enjoyable learning environment.
Along with piano, I teach music theory, sight-reading, rhythm exercises, and ear training. This comprehensive methodology develops technical skills, expressive ability, and musical understanding. My aim is to cultivate confident, creative, and lifelong musicians who enjoy exploring and performing music.
