About Valeria
Hi! I’m Valeria, but you can call me Vale! I’m 19 years old and I’m currently studying Business at Tecnológico de Monterrey. I’m bilingual in English and Spanish, and I have a C1 level of English. I’ve always enjoyed communicating in both languages and helping other people feel more comfortable using them.
I’ve had the opportunity to help my 8-year-old brother with his English, as well as help other people practice and improve their language skills. I can teach English to Spanish speakers and Spanish to English speakers, depending on what each student is looking for.
I would describe myself as patient, responsible, and very approachable. I like explaining things in a simple way and finding different ways to make something easier to understand. I also think it’s really important for students to feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and practicing without feeling embarrassed.
I want my classes to feel natural and personalized, rather than like another school obligation. I like getting to know my students, understanding what they want to improve, and adapting the lessons to their level, interests, and goals.
Whether you want to improve your English, practice Spanish, work on your pronunciation and conversation skills, or simply become more confident using a new language, I would love to help you! 🤍

Learning English should be something students enjoy, not something they feel pressured to do. My goal is to create a comfortable, positive, and personalized environment where every student can learn at their own pace and feel confident using English. 🤍
I am currently studying Business at Tecnológico de Monterrey, and I have always enjoyed working with children and helping others learn. I am patient, responsible, and very attentive to the individual needs of each student. I understand that every child learns differently, which is why I do not believe in using the exact same lesson for everyone.
Before starting, I like to understand the student’s English level, personality, interests, goals, and areas where they may need extra support. Whether they need help with school, want to improve their speaking and pronunciation, need to build their vocabulary, or simply want to feel more confident speaking English, I adapt my lessons to them.
My classes are interactive, practical, and personalized. Depending on the student’s age and goals, we can use conversations, games, reading, videos, vocabulary activities, pronunciation exercises, and real-life situations. I especially encourage younger students to participate and speak as much as possible, because I believe the best way to learn a language is by actually using it.
A typical lesson includes a quick review, a new topic or skill, interactive practice, and a final activity where the student can apply what they learned. I also pay attention to their progress and adapt future lessons based on their strengths and areas for improvement.
What sets me apart is the way I connect with my students. I want them to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and trying again without feeling embarrassed or pressured. I believe that building confidence is just as important as learning grammar and vocabulary.
My goal is for every student to finish each lesson feeling that they learned something new, but also feeling proud of themselves and excited to continue learning.
If you are looking for a patient, responsible, approachable, and committed tutor who will personalize each lesson around your child, I would love the opportunity to help them build their English skills and confidence! 🫶🏻
