About Shubhra
I am currently studying at UCD with a 50% Scholarship and a firm passion for Physics, Math, Philosophy and Computation. During my time at school, I began to realize how terrifying these subjects can be if you simply don't give yourself the time or right resources to fully understand and appreciate them. I believe the most rewarding part of learning is not just solving problems correctly, but truly understanding why things work the way they do. This led me to teaching as I love guiding students to see concepts clearly, ask as many questions as they'd like and eventually (if not fall in love), develop an appreciation for the subject. My goal here is to create an environment where students are comfortable exploring ideas and gain satisfaction in solving challenging problems. I hope to make sure that my students not only perform well in their exams on successfully learning concepts they are struggling with, but choose to be curious individuals who develop a lasting interest in Physics and Math!

Hello! I'm Shubhra, a second-year Global Excellence Scholar studying Theoretical/Astro Physics at University College Dublin. I have a strong academic foundation in Physics and Mathematics and I am greatly passionate about helping students fundamentally understand concepts, not just memorize them. My tutoring approach is very personalized, interactive and I love curiosity! I mainly aim to: - Break down complex topics into very simple, easy-to-understand steps - Greatly encourage critical thinking and a knack for problem-solving in my students - help students develop a great appreciation for the subject they are working on. If you're struggling with certain concepts, or just want to get better practice for your Physics and/or Math Leaving Cert, I promise to help you build confidence and make learning enjoyable and rewarding!
