I am a retired U.S. military officer with 25 years of service, now living in Charleston, SC with my wife, sometimes my son, and two dogs. I have two masters degrees which both required masters theses, and have three published articles in a professional magazine. And, generally, I enjoy writing and seem to have a knack for it.

Lessons are completely flexible based on the needs of the student. The format would be a mixture of online and in-person instruction and guidance. I can use essays that are already assigned to the student in another venue (i.e. high school or college), or assign new essays / articles that the student wishes to write for an assignment or publication.
