About Samya

Hey! I'm a B.Tech student at IIT Varanasi, originally from Kolkata, where I spent my school years.

My guitar journey started in Class 8 when I picked up a guitar for the first time. Like most beginners, I was excited to play my favorite songs, but I often found myself stuck between complicated theory and actually making music. So I did what many aspiring guitarists do—I turned to YouTube, online tutorials, and countless hours of self-practice.

Over the years, I've learned a lot, made plenty of mistakes, and figured out what actually helps a beginner progress. I'm still learning every day and would describe myself as an intermediate guitarist, not a professional. And honestly, I think that's one of my strengths as a teacher. I clearly remember what it feels like to struggle with chord changes, sore fingers, confusing tutorials, and the feeling that everyone else is progressing faster.

My classes are designed to be friendly, relaxed, and beginner-focused. You don't need any prior experience, music theory knowledge, or special talent. If you can't play a single chord yet, you're exactly the kind of student I'm looking to help.

Rather than acting like a strict instructor, I prefer to teach like a friend who's already been through the beginner phase and can guide you through it. We'll learn step by step, celebrate small wins, play songs you enjoy, and gradually build confidence on the guitar.

If your goal is to go from "I have a guitar but don't know what to do with it" to confidently playing your favorite Bollywood, indie, acoustic, or even Bengali songs, I'd love to help you get there.

Let's learn, improve, and enjoy the journey together—one chord at a time.

About the lesson

**Bought a Guitar but Don't Know What to Do With It?**

Maybe you bought one after watching covers on Instagram, listening to your favorite Bollywood or indie songs, or simply because you've always wanted to learn. Now it's sitting in a corner collecting dust because every tutorial feels too fast or too confusing.

That's exactly why I created this class.

This course is designed **exclusively for absolute beginners**. If you can't play a single chord, don't know how to tune your guitar, or have never taken a music lesson before, you're in the right place.

We'll start from the very beginning and build your skills step by step. No complicated music theory. No pressure. No "you should already know this."

What you'll learn:
How to hold and tune your guitar
Your first chords and strumming patterns
Smooth chord changes without frustration
Rhythm and timing fundamentals
Major and minor scales explained simply
Popular Bollywood, Indie, Bengali, and Acoustic songs
The confidence to learn and play songs on your own

My goal isn't just to teach exercises—it's to help you play the songs you love as quickly as possible while building a strong foundation.

Whether you're a student, a working professional, or someone finally picking up the guitar after years of thinking about it, you're welcome here.

️ **This class is only for complete beginners. If you already play guitar comfortably, know barre chords, or are looking for advanced lead guitar lessons, this course will be too basic for you.**
