About Leah

Hi! I’m a college senior majoring in Political Science with minors in History and PPE (Philosophy, Politics, and Economics), currently navigating the law school application process. Throughout my time in college, I’ve maintained a 3.99 GPA (with only one A-minus on my entire transcript) and scored a 171 on the official LSAT (98th percentile).
I’ve always had a natural intuition for logic and analytical reasoning—in fact, my very first LSAT diagnostic score was a 170. But beyond just being good at academics, I am deeply passionate about teaching and highly involved in campus leadership. I know firsthand how stressful it is to balance heavy reading loads, complex essays, and high-stakes exams, which is why I love helping other students find their footing and build confidence.
I have spent the last few years tutoring a diverse range of students across elementary, middle school, high school, and college levels. Whether I’m volunteering with younger kids to build foundational reading and writing skills, or working one-on-one with college peers to untangle advanced political theory, my goal is always the same: to make complex ideas simple, accessible, and engaging.
When I’m not studying or tutoring, you can usually find me involved in campus student groups or working on my law school applications. I pride myself on being sharp, structured, and results-oriented, but also incredibly down-to-earth, patient, and easy to talk to. I can't wait to help you reach your academic goals!

About the lesson

I don’t believe in boring lectures, memorizing flashcards, or using rigid, one-size-fits-all lesson plans. Because I am a current college senior, I know exactly what it takes to succeed in modern classrooms and on high-stakes exams. My lessons are highly collaborative, casual, and completely tailored to how your brain works best.
For Academic Courses (PoliSci, History, PPE, & Essay Writing):
We treat your assignments like a puzzle. Instead of just editing your work, I teach you how to analyze texts like a scholar and structure arguments that professors love. We will map out essay outlines together, translate complex readings into plain English, and build critical thinking habits that make studying feel way less overwhelming.
For the LSAT:
Standardized tests are just games with strict rules. Because I scored a 170 on my very first diagnostic and a 171 officially, I understand the underlying logic of the test natively. I will teach you how to decode the test-maker's tricks. We will focus heavily on blind review, building a personalized mistake tracker, and training your brain to spot exactly why a wrong answer choice is a trap.
What you get with every session:
• A supportive, low-stress environment where no question is a dumb question.
• Actionable strategies you can implement the second our call ends.
• A tutor who genuinely cares about your academic growth and confidence.
Whether you're an elementary student learning the basics of writing, an undergrad trying to survive a brutal midterm, or a fellow future law student tackling the LSAT—I've got your back!
