About Gabriella
Hi! I am a passionate educator with a BA in Liberal Studies. I have taught grades K-12 in classroom settings either as the primary teacher, or as a certified substitute. Eventually I transitioned out of the classroom, but continued to educate in other ways. I myself am a life-long learner and am currently working to complete a Masters degree in Urban Sustainability. I believe in identifying the unique ways in which students learn, and then tayloring our tutoring sessions to achieve the most benefitial results. I want our sessions to be productive and enjoyable.

My first goal is to understand each student that I work with - what are their needs, their areas of struggle, and the areas where they excel. I know that different students thrive with different techniques, and so I am mindful to adapt the tutoring session(s) in a way to will benefit the student the most. I believe in setting reasonable short, mid, and long-term goals so that we have a realistic plan of action. I want the students that I work with to feel supported, empowered and equipped, and I want them to achieve the desired outcomes for our time(s) together.
