About Piotr
Currently a second year maths student, my experience can help students understand the challenges and struggles of what they could do differently. One of the reasons I would like to teach maths to students is that I have experienced how difficult maths is and how it requires a certain mindset to solve problems. I would not only provide helpful tips and patterns to solve questions but I will go through a question step by step as I believe the working out represents a big chunk of your grade. Also, I appreciate the feedback students give me as this is what helps drive students' motivation to success.

One of the fundamentals of my teaching is helping students recognise patterns in answering all type of maths questions. In addition, before I solve the question I ask the students how they would approach it whether it be listing key words to solve it or just simply giving a general method of how to solve the particular question. As I start the lesson I give a few key words of what the lesson will be about and then proceed teaching the content, regularly asking if everyone understands what has been taught. Although I have not pursued tutoring as a profession, I used to help students below and in the same year as I was for GCSEs and A levels. The outcome was that the students I taught either got grades 6,7,8,9 in GCSEs and either B,A in A level. My lessons range from primary to A level.
