About Manushri

I am currently pursuing my Master’s in Applied Bioinformatics at King’s College London, with a strong academic background in the sciences and over 5 years of tutoring experience. I started tutoring while working at a tuition centre and have since continued tutoring privately online.

Having experienced the benefits of quality tuition myself, I strongly believe that every student can reach their full academic potential with the right support, regardless of their starting point. This is what motivates me to teach.

I am committed to creating a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing their knowledge. I understand how difficult it can feel to fall behind or to hesitate asking questions in class, so I make sure that every question, no matter how big or small, is welcomed and valued.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is highly personalised. I tailor each lesson to the student’s strengths, areas for improvement and learning style, ensuring sessions are both effective and engaging. I like to use a mix of clear explanations, exam-style practice and interactive resources to simplify complex topics.

Lessons typically last 60 minutes, though I can adapt this depending on the student’s needs. I also keep up to date with exam board specifications (AQA, Edexcel, Pearson) to ensure students are fully prepared for their exams.

I work with students of all abilities up to GCSE level, whether they are aiming to improve their grades or just build confidence. I aim to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions.

Manushri has been my Science tutor for about 6 months and she has been amazing. She is so friendly and I absolutely love the way she teaches, she always makes sure that you understand and if you don’t she is more than happy to further explain. I am forever grateful for Manushri and how she has helped me improve so much. She has helped me jump 3 grades ! Because of her I am no longer as stressed as I was before for GCSEs.
