Hello, I’m Karan, a university student and a passionate math tutor. My approach focuses on building understanding and confidence, not just completing exercises. I use step-by-step explanations, visual aids, and relatable examples to make concepts clear and memorable.
A typical lesson includes:
Goal setting (5 min): Understanding what the student needs that day — homework, test prep, or concept review.
Teaching session (45–50 min): Breaking down topics using examples, guided practice, and interactive problem-solving.
Review and practice (5 min): Summarizing key points, answering questions, and assigning targeted practice for reinforcement.
What sets me apart is my patience, adaptability, and enthusiasm, tailoring lessons to each student’s learning style and pace. I aim to make math enjoyable and stress-free, helping students feel confident tackling problems on their own.
These lessons are for students in Grades 1–8 who want help with homework, understanding new concepts, preparing for tests, or improving overall math skills.
