About Jack
Hi, I'm Jack and I am an able year 12 student with Physics being my strongest field. In my GCSE's I achieved a 9 8 in science trilogy and in particular, received one of the highest marks within my school in the Physics Trilogy paper.
I currently take A-level physics and would like to help tutor those students who need a little extra aid with their learning (upper school or lower school). Whilst I am perhaps not as experienced as other tutors, I believe I can more than compensate for that with a deeper level of empathy and understanding; as a student myself, I feel that I could pinpoint where your child may be struggling and therefore create a solution to which they can understand.

I wish to aid students anywhere from Year 7 up to Year 11 in boosting their GCSE Physics experience. For me, in a nutshell, Physics is comprehending how things work and why. My methods will focus on understanding and thus will be made as black and white as possible, cutting out all the unnecessary jargon to minimise confusion. I would definitely try using working examples, as using real-life scenarios to relate to (e.g. using the example of 2 trolleys bumping into each other to represent the idea of momentum) can often present the student with another less complex perspective to unlock their understanding of a more intimidating concept.
