About Lisa
I’m a qualified English teacher with a Bachelor’s degree in Education and over 3 years of experience teaching across various year levels. I have taught in both British and American curriculum schools, working with learners from diverse cultural and academic backgrounds. I chose teaching because I genuinely enjoy seeing learners grow in confidence and realize what they’re capable of. I am passionate about helping students reach their full potential by building their confidence, improving their skills, and supporting them every step of the way. My teaching approach is patient, structured, and adaptable to each learner’s needs. I believe in creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable, motivated, and encouraged to grow both academically and personally.

As a qualified B.Ed graduate with 3 years of teaching experience, I focus on creating a supportive and engaging environment tailored to each learner's unique needs. My approach is flexible and student-centred, using clear explanations, interactive methods, and real-world examples to help learners truly understand and apply what they’re learning.
Lessons typically run for 60 minutes and are designed to build confidence, reinforce key concepts, and improve overall performance. I tutor English and core school subjects for learners of all ages, from primary to secondary level, and I’m experienced with the British as well as American Curriculum.
Whether your child needs help catching up, exam preparation, or consistent academic support, I’m here to help them succeed.
