About Herma C
I am a dedicated and patient educator with 20 years of teaching experience and a strong background ICT and Mathematics. I believe that every learner can improve when lessons are explained clearly, patiently, and in a way that connects with their level and learning style.
As a current Alternative Learning System (ALS) teacher, I have experience working with learners with different abilities, backgrounds, and learning needs. This has taught me to be flexible, encouraging, and resourceful in helping students understand difficult concepts. I guide learners step by step so they can understand the process, build confidence, and eventually solve problems independently.
I am also comfortable using technology and digital learning resources to make lessons more engaging and accessible. Whether a student needs help with Mathematics, basic ICT skills, or developing better study habits, I strive to create a supportive learning environment where questions are always welcome.
My goal as a tutor is simple: to help students say, “I understand it now,” and to give them the confidence to keep learning even when a subject initially feels difficult.

Mistakes are always treated as valuable diagnostic data to pinpoint specific knowledge gaps in a zero-judgment environment. Every lesson follows a rigorous structure that transitions smoothly from guided discovery to complete independent mastery. This adaptive method allows me to support students aiming to excel in their standard.
