About Gellyn
Hello!I am Gellyn, a dedicated and patient Science and English tutor who enjoys helping students improve their communication skills and become more confident in using English.
My teaching approached is student centered, engaging and encouraging. I adjust lessons according to each students level, learning style, and needs. I use interactive activities, repetition, phonics, vocabulary practice, sentence building, questions, and positive reinforcement to make learning enjoyable and effective.
I have long patience with my student and genuine care for my students progress. I aim to make every lesson fun, meaningful and confidence building.

As a Tutor, I believe that learning should be engaging, encouraging, and student centered.
I used a combination of Total physical response (TPR), repetition, phonics,vocabulary building, and questioning, sentence construction and interactive activities.
Typical lesson plan:
1. Warm up- build rapport
2. Review-recall previously topic
3. Presentations- Introduce the new lessons or target language
4. Guide practice
5. Independent practice
6. Feedback and review
What's makes me different to other tutor is my patience, creativity, and genuine care to my students. I make lessons fun and meaningful while making sure that students understand the lesson.
My lesson are mainly suitable for Secondary learners but I can manage also young learners particularly children ages 6-9 as well as beginner and elementary-level students who want to improve their speaking, pronunciation,vocabulary, grammar, reading and overall confidence in Science and English subject as well..
