About Joyce
I am a licensed teacher who developed a strong passion for creating, engaging and student-centered learning environments. I focused on helping students imrpove not only academically but also in confidence and participation. In teaching, I rather focused on developing students reading comprehension, writing skills as well as on grammar.

My teaching approach begins with assessing my students to identify their individual learning needs and abilities. By understanding their strengths and areas for improvement, I can plan lessons and provide appropriate support. I start by setting clear learning objectives, followed by a motivational activity that captures the students' interest and connects to the lesson. This helps create an engaging and meaningful learning experience.
In addition to my teaching profession, I continue working as a tutor as another source of income. More importantly, tutoring has allowed me to develop a genuine passion for teaching children. I have handled Grade 5 and high school students, teaching subjects such as Filipino, MAPEH, English, and Values Education. These experiences have strengthened my teaching skills and deepened my commitment to helping learners achieve their full potential.
