About Roxanne
Hello! I am a Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English graduate with six years of teaching experience in the Department of Education (DepEd). Throughout my teaching career, I have worked with learners with different abilities, learning styles, and needs.
I offer patient, supportive, and personalized tutoring to help students improve their English skills and become more confident learners. I can assist with English assignments, reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, and other school-related activities.
I also have experience working with younger learners and students with special educational needs. I understand that some students may need more time, repetition, visual aids, simplified instructions, or a different teaching approach. I make sure that lessons are adjusted to the learner's pace and ability.
My goal is not simply to help students get the right answers. I want them to understand what they are learning, develop their skills, and gain confidence in their own abilities.

I believe that every learner has a different learning style, pace, and set of needs. As a teacher with six years of experience in DepEd, I use a learner-centered and individualized approach. I make lessons simple, engaging, and appropriate to the learner's level. What sets me apart is my combination of formal English education, six years of classroom teaching experience, and experience working with learners with different abilities and learning needs.
I do not simply provide answers to students' assignments. I guide them so they can understand the lesson, develop their skills, and eventually complete similar tasks independently. I am patient and willing to explain concepts in different ways when a learner does not understand them the first time.
