My Teaching Method and Techniques
I believe that every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to meet each learner's needs, pace, and goals. My lessons are interactive, student-centered, and designed to build confidence while developing strong English communication skills. I use engaging discussions, real-life examples, storytelling, games (especially for younger learners), and practical exercises to make learning meaningful and enjoyable. I also provide constructive feedback and consistent encouragement to help students improve steadily.
A Typical Lesson Plan
A typical lesson begins with a brief review of previous topics to reinforce learning. I then introduce a new concept using simple explanations and relatable examples. Throughout the lesson, students participate in guided practice through conversations, reading activities, writing exercises, or interactive tasks. I conclude each session with a summary, personalized feedback, and a short activity or assignment to strengthen the skills learned.
What Sets Me Apart as a Tutor
I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education, majoring in English, and have hands-on teaching experience in an actual classroom setting. This has equipped me with effective classroom management skills and the ability to handle learners with different personalities and learning styles.
Beyond teaching, I am an English enthusiast who genuinely enjoys helping others improve their language skills. My strong communication skills, developed through my experience as a freelance host, allow me to explain concepts clearly and confidently while creating an engaging learning environment. As a former student leader during my college years, I also developed leadership, adaptability, and interpersonal skills that help me connect with students and motivate them to reach their full potential.
I am especially fond of working with children and strive to create a positive, patient, and supportive atmosphere where they feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing as learners.
