About Sarmiento
Hello! My name is Lea Sarmiento, and I am a Licensed Professional Teacher from the Philippines with several years of experience teaching English to children, teenagers, and adults from different backgrounds. I am passionate about helping students become confident English speakers by creating a positive, supportive, and engaging learning environment. My lessons are carefully planned and tailored to each student's needs, whether they want to improve their grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, speaking, reading, or overall communication skills. I believe that learning is most effective when students feel comfortable asking questions and expressing themselves, so I always encourage active participation and provide patient guidance throughout every lesson. My name is Lea Sarmiento, and I am a Licensed Professional Teacher from the Philippines with several years of experience teaching English to both children and adults. I create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and speaking English with confidence. A typical lesson begins with a short review or warm-up, followed by the introduction of a new topic, interactive practice through exercises or conversations, constructive feedback with pronunciation and grammar corrections, and a brief summary to reinforce learning. What sets me apart as a tutor is my patience, adaptability, and commitment to helping students build both their English skills and self-confidence. I carefully adjust each lesson to match the learner's level and learning pace, ensuring steady progress in speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation. My lessons are suitable for young learners, elementary and secondary school students, college students, and adult learners from beginner to intermediate levels who want to improve their English for school, work, travel, or everyday communication.
