About Gabriela Maries
Although my degree is in Business Administration major in Human Resource Management rather than Education, I can assure my students that I will approach tutoring with professionalism, responsibility, and dedication. My academic background has equipped me with strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills, which are essential when working with learners. I will always prepare for my lessons, respect my students’ individual learning needs, and provide clear and accurate explanations. I also understand the importance of maintaining professionalism, building trust, and creating a safe and respectful learning environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves.
I want my students to feel confident that they are learning from someone who genuinely cares about their progress. I may not have the title of a professional teacher, but I am committed to continuously improving my knowledge and tutoring skills. I will be honest about what I know, willing to learn when necessary, and dedicated to providing lessons that are useful and meaningful. My goal is to earn my students’ trust through consistency, preparation, patience, and genuine support. I believe my background in Human Resource Management gives me a unique perspective that allows me to connect with people, understand their needs, and inspire them to become more confident and capable learners.

I may not be a professional teacher by profession, but as a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Human Resource Management, I have developed skills and knowledge that can be valuable in teaching and mentoring students. My background has trained me to communicate effectively, understand different personalities, work with people, and handle different situations professionally. I believe these skills can help me create a positive and comfortable learning environment for my future students.
Students should take lessons with me because I want learning to be more than just memorizing information. I want to make every lesson understandable, practical, and connected to real-life situations. Through my background in Human Resource Management, I can share lessons related to communication, teamwork, leadership, professionalism, workplace behavior, and personal development. I believe students learn better when they understand how their lessons can be applied in their everyday lives and future careers.
I also believe that every student has a different way of learning. My experience in dealing with different people has taught me the importance of patience, respect, and understanding. I will make an effort to identify the needs of each student and adjust my approach when necessary. I will encourage my students to ask questions, express their opinions, and participate actively without being afraid of making mistakes.
Another reason why students should choose to learn with me is that I want to help them develop confidence, not only academic knowledge. As someone who has experienced the challenges of being a student and eventually entering the professional world, I understand how important confidence, communication, discipline, and perseverance are. I want to motivate my students to believe in themselves, overcome their challenges, and recognize their own strengths and abilities.
Although my degree is not specifically in Education, I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and helping others grow. I believe that teaching is also about continuous learning, and I am willing to improve my skills and learn new ways to become an effective mentor.
