About Sahil

Hello, I’m Sahil, a qualified science teacher with experience teaching GCSE and KS3 students in London. I am passionate about helping students understand, enjoy, and succeed in science. My goal is to build confidence in every student while ensuring they make measurable progress.

I bring real classroom experience to my tutoring sessions, with a strong track record of helping students improve grades, develop study skills, and gain confidence in their abilities. I tailor lessons to each student’s needs, breaking down complex concepts into clear, manageable steps, and using interactive activities to make learning engaging.

I take professionalism seriously: lessons are well-structured, punctual, and focused on achieving results. I aim to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, exploring ideas, and building their understanding at their own pace.

• KS3 Science

About the lesson

My approach to tutoring focuses on building confidence, understanding, and exam readiness. I tailor each lesson to the student’s needs, ensuring that complex concepts are broken down into manageable, clear steps.

Teaching methodology:
• I use a combination of explanation, examples, and active practice, helping students understand the “why” as well as the “how.”
• I include mini-assessments, quizzes, and discussion questions to check understanding and consolidate learning.
• Lessons are interactive and student-centred, with opportunities for students to ask questions and explore topics in depth.

Lesson length:
• Typically 60 minutes, but can be adjusted depending on the student’s focus and requirements.

• Qualified teacher in science, currently teaching GCSE and KS3 in a London secondary school.
• Skilled at helping students prepare for exams, improve grades, and develop effective study strategies.
