About Roger
I am a qualified teacher and engineer. I was forced to retire early with a back problem. This is now resolved after two operations abroad. I have seen how the system can be less than best for some students and would like to help them gain as much as possible out of life. My industrial experience will be of great benefit to your learning process.

I avoid constraints on student learning by, (for example), having fixed times and durations. Lessons can be many short or long tutorials depending on student needs. My costs are variable and can be negotiated after the first free assessment. We may agree on an hourly rate or a fixed monthly charge giving the student unlimited access as required (including weekends). It is essential that students see their progress and understand how topics depend on previous understanding. I use PowerPoint videos that show dynamic illustrations which is suitable for people who tend to think in pictures (Dyslexics). The most important task, in the beginning, is to understand the student and tailor lessons to match their preferred learning style.
