Carmen helped me with calculus last spring over zoom. I was feeling really behind in the class but after meeting with her for a few weeks I started doing much better on my tests. Math has never been an easy subject for me, but Carmen was patient and non-judgemental and helped me see that even though the concepts didn’t make sense the first time I heard them in class didn’t mean I wasn’t capable of learning them. I am much more confident with my math skills and problem solving in general now. This past fall I started college, and went back to zooming with Carmen to get some extra help with my chemistry class. I’d recommend Carmen if you are struggling at all with math or other STEM subjects.

My daughter needed some one-on-one time to work through some advanced calculus concepts. Carmen was well versed in the subject matter, kind and patient. My daughter thought that she was wonderful. She worked with her throughout the year and helped with physics and chemistry instruction as well. It was not easy to find a teacher qualified to teach advanced levels and pass muster with my selective daughter. We are so pleased to have found her.
