About Bassem
I am Bassem Hassanain. I graduated with a Bachelor's in Oral and Dental Medicine from Cairo University in Egypt in 2003. Advancing, I earned my second degree in 2006, delving into oral surgery's intricacies. I obtained a Diploma in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Believing in lifelong learning, I then ventured to Toulouse, France to continue my education. In 2018, I graduated from Toulouse University III Paul Sabatier, holding a Postgraduate Thesis-based Diplôme D'Université In Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Implantology. Beyond academics, I enriched my life by moving to Canada 4 years ago where I spent the last 3 years in Nova Scotia, and am now near completing my dentistry qualifications to practice. I held an academic appointment at Dalhousie University, where I taught courses to students in the Bachelor of Dental Hygiene program. I am currently concluding my academic journey as I pursue a Master of Education degree.

As a tutor, my approach is centered on building strong foundations, encouraging active learning, and tailoring my methods to each student’s unique needs. I believe that understanding why something works is just as important as knowing how to do it. A Typical Lesson Plan
Each lesson typically follows this structure:
1. Warm-up (5 mins): Quick recap of the previous lesson or a short quiz
2. Objective Setting (5 mins): Clarify what we’ll learn and why it's important
3. Core Teaching (30 mins): Introduce new material using examples and student engagement
4. Practice/Application (15 mins): Exercises, problem-solving, or discussion
5. Wrap-up (5 mins): Review key points, answer final questions, and assign follow-up work or reading
