About Soumit
I have always been a student of Economics. Since I was introduced to Economics in my 9th standard, the subject has always intrigued me and pushed me to know more and more.
I have completed my bachelors in Economics with a specialization in Statistics and Mathematics, from Ramakrishna Mission Vidyamandira, University of Calcutta, and currently, I am doing my masters in Economics with a specialization in Environment and Natural Resources from TERI School of Advanced Studies, New Delhi. Environment protection and nature maintenance have become necessities in the reckless way humanity has led its life all these years, and I believe the economical study of the environment and natural resources would help us find a solution.

I am 22 years old. I understand the philosophy of a young mind. Each individual has a unique potential. I am very patient with the students and always help them to reach that potential. I make sure that the students understand that they know success is a subjective term and each individual reaches a certain pre-determined level of success in their own way and their own time. I try to thus make sure they never compare themselves with others.
As a teacher, I believe the trick to successfully grasping a topic is building a strong foundation on that topic. Once a strong foundation is laid, only rigorous practice can take you to being the master of that topic.
