About Ethel Mara
A licensed Professional Teacher with 12 years of dedicated service in the department of education.
For me, teaching is never a solo job; it is a community effort. I am always excited to collaborate with my grade-level peers.
This social nature goes hand-in-hand with my deep patience when dealing with people, especially intermediate learners. Grade 5 students are at a critical developmental stage. I make it a point to meet them exactly where they are.

Teaching is a natural extension of being family-oriented. In the classroom, my students become an extension of my own family. I strive to create a nurturing, inclusive space where every learner feels valued, supported, and safe to grow. Just as in a healthy home, my classroom thrives on patience, empathy, and unconditional encouragement. I celebrate their milestones like a proud parent, mediate conflicts with compassion, and work to build a strong foundation of trust. By treating my students with the same dedication and care I give my loved ones, I help them build both the confidence and character they need to succeed in life.
