About Stephen
I am a friendly and patient tutor who enjoys helping students understand Maths in a simple and confidence-building way. I’ve always liked breaking down difficult ideas into clear steps, and it’s rewarding to see students realise they can achieve more than they thought. I want to teach because I’ve seen how much progress a student can make with the right support. While tutoring a young student with cerebral palsy, I learnt how important personalised teaching is and how much it can improve confidence as well as academic results. Helping students feel more capable and motivated is what makes teaching meaningful to me.
