About Ashwini
Hello! My name is Ash and I am currently a Graduate-entry Medicine student at King's College London. I have a First Class Honours degree in Anatomy, Developmental and Human Biology and have worked as a research assistant at King's, UCL and Imperial with several publications under my name. In addition to teaching laboratory skills and the science underpinning them to Bachelor's and Master's students on their laboratory placements, I have been a tutor for children between the ages of 8 to 17 during my sixth form. Having had to navigate the incredibly high competition to get into Graduate-entry Medicine myself, I am keen to help others interested in research and medicine to nail down concepts they are struggling with. I have fully enjoyed opportunities to teach while at school, university and at work and am looking forward to helping others enjoy a subject I myself find to be incredibly fascinating.

I aim to foster a true sense of enjoyment in the subject while also ensuring you achieve the best results possible. Lessons would typically last for an hour but if you are able to do longer sessions of up to 2 hours, we can discuss this to accommodate your needs. The first lesson would involve me getting an idea of your current level, identifying any particular areas that you struggle with and establishing your learning style. In addition to teaching Chemistry, I am also offering support with medical school applications (UCAT, personal statements and interviews). Ashwini is an amazing tutor. She is patient, considerate and is great at making it easy to understand complex concepts by providing exaples and breaking it down in simpler things. Also, she is great at explaining formulas and how to make calculations in such a way that I can understand what I'm doing and provides the tools for one to be able to do it by themselves. Absolutely loved my learning sessions with her!
