About Jake
I currently have a Bachelors of History, and I am one semester away from obtaining my Masters of Education, and I am in the process of being certified to be a teacher through the NJDOE. I am currently a student teacher in a high school, teaching history. I have student taught history classes, and an inclusive special education class in the past, so I have experience working with any learning difference a student may have. I am also a former athlete and two time captain on my college's football team. I can relate to all of you athletes that are struggling balancing school/sports.
I'll keep it fun, but I will really help with any of those needs above (History, Geography, Government, English, Writing).

I incorporate many primary/secondary sources into my history lessons and try to make them as fun as possible for the students, with many pictures to make presentations much more lively. I also have spent an entire semester student teaching special education, so I have the capability to work with students with learning differences. I can also support students with history/English essays, and any writing needs. I have vast experience with MLA, and Chicago formatting.
