About Jenevie

Hello! My name is Jenevie, a responsible college student passionate about teaching Filipino to elementary learners. I create fun, interactive lessons using games, songs, and visuals that make learning enjoyable and effective. With patience, creativity, and professionalism, I ensure students feel confident, supported, and motivated to succeed. My goal is to help children build strong language skills while appreciating Filipino culture, making each session both educational and inspiring.

About the lesson

I make learning Filipino fun and easy for young learners. My teaching method uses games, songs, and simple conversations so children can enjoy practicing the language. I explain lessons with colorful visuals, flashcards, and short stories that connect to their everyday experiences. A typical lesson starts with a warm-up activity like a song or word game, followed by introducing new words or grammar in a playful way. Then, students practice through drawing, role-play, or short writing tasks, and we end with a recap and a fun assignment such as writing a few sentences about their day. What sets me apart is my patience and creativity,I make sure each child feels confident and excited to learn. My lessons are especially for elementary students who are beginning to study Filipino, need extra help with schoolwork, or want to improve their speaking and writing skills while also appreciating Filipino culture.
