About Taijah
I have been teaching for five years. I am trained in teaching methods, pedagogy, and intercultural communication. I always create an open and safe space for my students to explore who they are as people and as dancers. As performers, it is so hard to know yourself. My goal is to establish confidence in each dancer that enters my classroom, so that they can know and love who they are!

I teach ages five and up! A typical lesson with me starts with a strength and flexibility warm up to get the dancer's blood flowing and ready to go. After the warmup, I move into across the floor or barre combinations to work on foundational techniques and I usually finish class went a center combination to work on performance skills.
