About Ayah
I hold a degree in Financial Economics, a field that perfectly combines my lifelong passion for math with my interest in understanding the complexities of finance. From an early age, math has been a constant source of fascination for me, guiding my academic and personal pursuits. This love for numbers was reflected in my exceptional performance on the SATs, where I scored in the top 2% nationwide, garnering interviews from five Ivy League schools. Beyond academics, I am also an artist. This unique combination has allowed me to use mathematical principles and numerical insights to effectively market myself and manage my own business. Whether I'm calculating financial projections or in my creative process, math remains at the core of everything I do.

As a math tutor for K-12 students, my teaching approach is engaging and adaptive, focusing on making math fun and accessible. I start by understanding each student’s learning style in our initial session through a mix of questions and simple assessments, which helps me tailor my methods to their needs. My sessions typically include a warm-up to review prior material, an introduction to new concepts using clear examples and real-world applications, guided and independent practice, and a wrap-up to consolidate learning. I employ active learning, step-by-step guidance, and positive reinforcement to build confidence and foster a love for math. What sets me apart is my ability to relate math to everyday life, adapt my teaching to different learning styles, and create a supportive, patient learning environment. My lessons cater to all K-12 math topics, from basic arithmetic to advanced calculus, ensuring that every student, regardless of their level or goals, can achieve their best and develop a strong foundation in math!
