About Lauren
I have been in auditioned choirs for more than eight years, so audition prep is something I can absolutely provide insight on and help with. I have also worked with a variety of conductors from several different states and understand many different vocal styles that they may want their sound to have. I've taken and participated in private voice lessons and performed in recitals with many different styles of repertoire. The voice is such a unique and personal thing, and I look forward to helping you bolster yours and find your success.

Voice lessons can go a lot of different ways. I try to take a very hands on approach to the lessons, meaning each lesson will be tailored to the progress you make the week before. If working a specific piece until you're satisfied is the most effective and time-friendly way to help you achieve your goals, then that is what we can do! If learning technique for a few weeks before introducing repertoire is how your brain works best, then we will do that. I can provide the technique and the necessary expert advice, while a lot of what we'll do will come from you expressing comfort level. These lessons are FOR YOU, so we will follow a lot of what you feel comfortable with.
