About Lexi
I am a young adult that is a real musician in the world. I studied Vocal Arts Performance at Los Angeles Pierce College and transferred with an Associates degree in music to Cal State Northridge where I earned a Bachelors of Music in Vocal Arts Performance. I studied voice and practiced heavily and worked on my voice for seven years developing my craft with advanced vocal technique. I have performed at my university as well as Contemporary style gigs around town. I have a background of taking piano lessons from age four to age thirteen. I play piano and sight read at a level 4. I am comfortable teaching beginners levels one and two. I also am trained in Contemporary voice as well as Classical. I can help students develop the sound they are looking for whether it is Opera style or something more modern like Jazz and Pop.

My lessons are mainly focused around my student and what their goals are. Each student is in a different place so my goal is to reach them at their capacity so they can get the most out of our lesson to obtain a quality education and have some fun while were doing it too! There are many methods and techniques I've learned at my university and my goal is to pass down the knowledge that was passed down to me. Each student is different, so voice lessons are very much about each individual, what might work for one person, might not work with somebody else. We can try all the tools we need to help my students grow!
