About Jacklyn
My name is Jacklyn Zamayoa and this is my sixth year of teaching. I have had the privilege of teaching students across both middle and high school levels, which has given me a deep understanding of the unique needs and potential of every learner. From leading classroom discussions to supporting students in after-school programs, I have dedicated myself to creating an environment where all students feel valued, inspired, and supported.
My approach to teaching goes beyond just delivering lessons—it’s about fostering a connection. Students in my class know they are in a safe space where their voices matter and their growth is the priority. Whether we’re diving into a complex text, developing writing skills, or working through challenges together, I ensure every student feels comfortable taking risks and striving for excellence.
As an educator, I am always learning and evolving, finding innovative ways to engage and challenge my students. My goal is to equip them not only with academic skills but also with confidence, resilience, and the ability to think critically in the world beyond the classroom.
