About Vasileios

About me

Hello! My name is Vasileios Papadopoulos, and I am a native Greek speaker with a university degree in Science Education and experience teaching subjects such as Physics and Chemistry.

I have always enjoyed teaching because I love helping people learn, improve and gain confidence. This is one of the main reasons I decided to offer Greek lessons. I would love to share my language and culture with people who are interested in learning Greek, whether for travel, everyday communication, family, or simply because they have a love for Greece.

I teach both adults and children through personalised online lessons. I believe that learning a language should be enjoyable, relaxed and adapted to each student’s needs and level.

My teaching experience has taught me to be patient, clear and encouraging. I want my students to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and practising Greek without pressure.

Whether you are starting Greek from zero or already know some Greek and want to improve, I would be happy to help you reach your goals.

I look forward to meeting you and helping you discover the beauty of the Greek language!

About the lesson

I believe that learning a new language should be enjoyable, practical and adapted to each student.

As a native Greek speaker and an experienced educator with a university degree in Science Education, I understand that every student has a different learning style and different goals. My teaching experience in subjects such as Physics and Chemistry has taught me how to explain concepts clearly, patiently and in a way that makes learning easier and more engaging.

In my Greek lessons, I create a friendly and supportive environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and practising their Greek. I adapt each lesson to the student’s level, age and interests, whether they are learning Greek from scratch, improving their conversation skills, or helping their child learn and maintain the language.

My goal is not only to teach Greek, but to help my students feel confident using it in real-life situations.

All lessons are one-to-one and online, allowing us to work at your own pace and focus on what matters most to you.

I look forward to helping you discover and enjoy the Greek language!
