About Fred
My name is Fred and I have recently graduated from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
I am a professional clarinettist and saxophonist who has a lot of experience performing a vast array of repertoire from orchestral, opera, chamber and solo, to jazz and contemporary music.
I have been teaching alongside performing for over 5 years and have attended and played in several masterclasses by prominent instrumentalists in the classical world.
This experience has helped me gain more knowledge on how to better teach my students as well as broaden my techniques to ensure that every student is able to reach their full potential.
If you are interested in lessons, I am very happy to organise a quick 15 minute introductory zoom meeting to discuss your goals on the instrument, level of playing experience and any further questions you may have.

I have taught a wide range of students of all age groups from beginner to advanced level for over five years, guiding students through exams and auditions as well as holding concerts and workshops to help develop their performance skills and confidence.
I have also helped several students develop their understanding of Music Theory and taught the ABRSM syllabus up to Grade 6.
I am committed to each and everyone of my students and adapt according to their individual needs and goals.
I am based in Southwark and have an enhanced DBS check.
