Hi there,

I am a passionate tutor because I know firsthand how much the right guidance, preparation and approach can influence a student’s confidence and results. After achieving a 98.75 ATAR, including strong results in VCE Chemistry and Physics, I understand the demands of VCE and what it takes to perform consistently under SAC and exam conditions.

Throughout my own studies, I learned that achieving strong results is not simply about working harder. It is about understanding concepts properly, identifying weaknesses, developing effective problem-solving strategies, and knowing how to approach different types of questions. This experience has shaped the way I tutor and motivates me to help students develop these skills for themselves.

I have over two years of tutoring experience and 200+ hours of teaching experience, working with students across a range of year levels and abilities. I take the time to understand how each student learns and tailor my lessons accordingly. Whether a student needs help understanding a difficult concept, working through challenging questions, preparing for an upcoming SAC, or pushing towards a higher study score, I aim to provide clear and practical guidance that makes the learning process more manageable.

I care deeply about my students’ progress and take pride in creating lessons that are engaging, supportive and purposeful. My teaching style is patient and encouraging, while still challenging students to think independently and reach their potential. I believe students benefit most when they understand why something works rather than simply memorizing a formula or procedure.

What motivates me most is seeing students become more confident in their own ability. Helping someone go from feeling overwhelmed by a subject to approaching difficult questions with clarity and confidence is what makes tutoring so rewarding for me. My goal is to help students not only improve their marks, but develop the skills, understanding and confidence to perform at their best.

About the lesson

I provide personalized 1-on-1 online tutoring for VCE Math Methods, Chemistry and Physics, helping students build genuine understanding, improve their results, and develop the confidence to tackle challenging SAC and exam questions independently.

Having achieved an ATAR of 98.75 and strong VCE results across English, Chemistry, Physics and Geography, I understand what is required to perform at a high level in VCE. I also have over two years of tutoring experience, including 200+ hours tutoring students across Years 3–10. My approach combines strong subject knowledge with a patient, practical teaching style tailored to each student.

Lessons are 60 minutes at $60 per hour and are fully personalized around your current level, goals and areas for improvement. We can work through difficult concepts, review SACs and assessments, identify recurring mistakes, complete VCAA-style questions, or prepare strategically for upcoming exams.

Rather than simply showing you how to get an answer, I focus on helping you understand why a method works and how to recognize when to use it. You’ll actively work through questions during lessons while receiving guidance and immediate feedback, allowing us to identify weaknesses and turn them into strengths.

For VCE Math Methods, lessons focus on building confidence with core concepts, algebraic manipulation, functions, calculus, probability, statistics and problem-solving, while developing efficient techniques for tackling both familiar and unfamiliar exam questions.

For VCE Chemistry, we focus on understanding key concepts rather than relying purely on memorization, applying chemical principles to unfamiliar situations, mastering calculations, interpreting experimental data and graphs, and developing strong responses to VCAA-style questions.

For VCE Physics, lessons focus on developing a strong conceptual understanding, applying equations correctly, interpreting diagrams and data, solving multi-step problems, and becoming confident with the style and difficulty of VCAA questions.

My goal is not just to help you get through your next SAC. I want you to develop the skills and understanding to consistently perform at your best throughout the year.

These lessons are ideal for students who are looking to improve their SAC results, strengthen their understanding of difficult content, become more confident with exam-style questions, or push towards the highest possible VCE results.
