About Stacie
I have taught Kindergarten, 1st grade, 2nd grade, and 3rd grade in my 20 years of teaching. The foundations of reading have been something I have had the opportunity to perfect. Teaching and helping people learn is a passion that I've had for most of my life. I have learned how to understand how each of my students learn and meet them where they are.

My lessons are for anyone needing assistance with learning how to read.
1. Practice reading and spelling sight words with flash cards, verbally, and writing them.
2. Practice fundamentals of reading with segmenting words, blending words, and phonemic awareness.
3. Practice syllable division rules
4. Practice reading sentences, books, etc.
I create my lessons to fit with what the learner needs. If the learner needs foundational support in reading ,then I will begin there. If the reader needs to work on fluency, vocabulary, etc. then I will start there.
Throughout my lessons I encourage students with a positive attitude. All people can learn, but not always the same way.
