About Anas
Hey there! I’m a Medical Science grad and currently studying Pharmacy—so yeah, science is kind of my thing! I’ve been tutoring high school students for a while now, and my goal is simple: to make Biology and Chemistry actually make sense. No confusing jargon, just clear explanations, real-life examples, and lots of practice to nail those exam skills. I get that science can feel overwhelming, especially in HSC, so I keep my lessons chill but focused. Whether you’re barely passing or pushing for a Band 6, I’ll adapt to your pace and find ways to make the content stick. Plus, I’ve been where you are—I know what examiners want, and I’ll share all the tricks I wish I’d known earlier! When I’m not teaching or studying, you’ll find me at the gym, hiking, or hanging out with friends and family (because balance is key, right?). I tailor my teaching to each student’s needs, combining structured explanations with active problem-solving to reinforce understanding. My methodology focuses on breaking down complex concepts into simpler steps, using real-life examples—especially from medical sciences—to make topics relatable. I emphasise practice questions and past papers for exam preparation, ensuring students grasp both theory and application.
Lesson Length: Typically 60 minutes, with flexibility for longer sessions (e.g., 90 minutes) for intensive revision or difficult topics.
Qualifications/Experience: I hold a Bachelor’s in Medical Science and am currently studying Pharmacy, giving me strong expertise in biology, chemistry, and related subjects.
Students: My lessons are for HSC students (Years 11–12) and junior high school (Years 7–10), covering sciences (Biology, Chemistry) and foundational skills. I adapt to all levels, from struggling learners to high achievers aiming for top marks.
