About Tia-Bella
My name is Tia and I am an English and drama teacher working towards my QTS to teach GCSE level English, currently working in a secondary school. I have A levels in English, Law and Sociology and a degree in (BA Hons) English and Journalism. I have always wanted to teach and love helping students progress in their education journey. I am a collaborative individual with a drive to get the best out of people by focusing on individual needs and barriers.

When encountering a student for the first time, I focus on understanding the pupil to determine what their needs are, goals, learning style and potential challenges to set clear and achievable goals. In turn I will have structured and tailored lessons to get the best out of their learning ability. Each lesson will have clear objectives, relevant practice that incorporates useful skills and a collaborative approach with engaging materials. Detailed feedback will be given each lesson to determine future objectives and progress reports. Encouraging communication to maximise progress and results.
