About Samantha
I'm a graduate of Manhattan School of Music trained in the bel canto style of singing. I am proficient in basic music theory and history and am most interested in consistent progress all the while learning about and maintaining pristine vocal health.
I have been working professionally as a singing actor for the past six years, in both opera and musical theater as well as choral/church singing.
I am a teacher that values a collaborative approach--no two students are alike, which means no two voices are alike. I want to work with you to bring out your best individual sound.

I am trained in the bel canto style of singing and this is how I approach teaching classical voice technique.
For musical theatre technique, I focus on teaching a healthy mix and acting technique.
I am patient, dynamic, and versatile, both as a performer and as an educator.
I am comfortable teaching anyone high-school-aged and up in classical voice and legit/contemporary musical theatre. I am not the best teacher to teach pop/rock technique or heavy belt.
I also have a great knowledge of basic music theory and can help with any music theory-related homework in elementary school-high school.
