About Dionne
I have been dancing since the age of 3. I’ve been in several dance productions in the past five years. I have also been a part of music videos and social media advertisements for well known companies such as Yakimono. Dancing has allowed me to develop self confidence, self discipline and excellent time-management skills.
In 2020, I received a scholarship and completed a full year of full time dance. In 2021, I began teaching dance classes 5 hours a week. During this period I gained the confidence and ability to instruct a class, work independently to plan, set goals for my students and developed effective leadership skills.
I have currently obtained my RSA license, Working with Children’s license and my First AID and CPR Certificate.
Previously, I have volunteered my time to help assist the junior dance class. My aim for this role was to further enhance my leadership skills and ensure that the children were given equal time to learn whilst enjoying their dance class. I have also been a member of Act Now Speak Later for three years, raising awareness and funds for a cancer program, promotion done through volunteering to at showcases.

Lessons vary between 30mins to 2 hours. I have been teaching group classes for 4 hours and private lessons for a year and a half. I focus on what the student wants to achiever. Wether that be a specific skill or choreography a routine for competitions. My objective is to help the student achiever greater confidence with their skill and ability as a dancer
