About Rebecca

Ever wanted to perform? Whether you dream of singing, acting, playing the cello—or all three—I’m here to help you find your voice and grow your confidence. Lessons are tailored specifically to your individual needs, goals, and style.

I’m Rebecca, a performer and passionate teacher with a BA and MA in Musical Theatre (Performance). I teach a wide range of singing styles including Musical Theatre, Legit, Contemporary, and Pop/Rock. I also play the cello and piano, and can support you with music theory, sight-reading, and acting—either through song or as a standalone discipline.

Music is about joy and expression, and my goal is to help you develop your skills while keeping the creative spark alive. I’m easygoing and approachable, and I aim to create a safe, encouraging space for students of all ages and levels.

About the lesson

What can students expect from lessons with me? • A playful, fun, and technique-based approach to learning • Lessons designed around your personal goals (e.g., audition prep, drama school applications, building confidence, vocal versatility) • Support in different singing styles: Musical Theatre, Pop/Rock, Legit, and Contemporary • While weekly lessons are flexible, two one-hour sessions per week are ideal for steady progress (with time to practice between)

What does a first lesson look like? • We’ll start with a relaxed conversation about your musical goals and experience • Together, we’ll create a plan tailored to your interests and needs • We'll do a warm-up, exercises and work on 1–2 songs during your first session • Lessons can take place at my home studio, online, or—if my schedule allows—at your home

My teaching experience: • I teach students of all ages—from children to adults and seniors • I hold a chaperone license and am experienced in working with children • I welcome all levels, from total beginners to experienced performers • I teach both privately and through companies like the BRIT School/BRIT Kids

My background as a performer: • BA & MA in Musical Theatre • Professional experience includes concerts&gigs, Cabaret style performances, touring, cruise ship performances, and productions such as A Little Night Music, Carrie, Gypsy, Pippin, and Smile
