About David
I’m a tutor who genuinely enjoys helping students understand Chemistry and A-Level Biology, especially when these subjects feel confusing or frustrating. I know what it’s like to sit in class and feel lost, or to revise but still not really understand what’s going on. That’s why I teach the way I do.
I want to teach because I like seeing that moment when something finally clicks. I enjoy breaking topics down, explaining them clearly, and helping students realise they’re actually capable of more than they think.

I tutor Chemistry and A-Level Biology with a focus on understanding, not just memorising. I know these subjects can feel confusing or overwhelming, especially when lessons move too fast at school. My aim is to slow things down and explain ideas clearly, step by step, until they make sense.
Every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching to suit the person I’m working with. We focus on the topics you find hardest, go over things as many times as needed, and practise questions in a way that builds confidence for exams.
