About Mary Redgz Danae

Welcome to My Tutoring Practice!
Finding the right support for your child's education is an important decision, and my goal is to make that choice clear, confident, and rewarding. As a graduate of BS Management Accounting, I bring a strong foundation in analytical thinking, organization, and problem-solving to every session.

While my academic background is rooted in business and finance, my true passion lies in teaching. Having experience tutoring younger family members and guiding students through foundational subjects, including Math, Science, English, and Filipino. I understand that every child learns at their own pace.

My mission is simple: to transform academic frustration into genuine curiosity and lasting confidence. Let's work together to help your child reach their full potential!

My Teaching Methods & Techniques

1.) Concrete-Pictorial-Abstract (CPA) Approach: Especially powerful in Math. Start with physical objects or real-life examples (like counting snacks or grouping toys), move to pictures or drawings, and finally introduce numbers and symbols.

2.) The "I Do, We Do, You Do" Scaffold:
I Do: Demonstrate how to solve a math word problem or read a vocabulary word.

We Do: Solve the next one together, letting the student lead while you guide.

You Do: Let them solve a similar problem independently to test understanding.

3.) Multi-Sensory Learning: Combine visual aids, spoken repetition, and hands-on writing or drawing.

4.) Positive Reinforcement & Growth Mindset: Celebrate small wins enthusiastically.

My Lesson Plan

(00–05 min) Warm-Up & Connection - Quick chat, light review game, or mental math drill

(05–20 min) Core Subject Part 1 (e.g., Math Concept or Grammar) - Introduce new rule or topic with a fun example

(20–25 min) Brain Break / Energizer - Quick stretch, water break, or a fun word puzzle

(25–40 min) Core Subject Part 2 (e.g., Science Reading or Filipino) - Guided practice, reading aloud, or worksheet exercises

(40–45 min) Wrap-Up & Reward - Review key takeaway, praise effort, & set next goal

Who the Lessons Are For

My tutoring is perfectly tailored for:

Elementary Students (Grades 1 to 6): Children needing foundational help in Math (arithmetic, fractions, word problems), Science (basic biology, earth science, states of matter), English (reading comprehension, grammar, vocabulary), and Filipino (pagbasa, balarila, talasalitaan).

Visual & Relational Learners: Kids who benefit from patient, one-on-one attention and step-by-step guidance rather than fast-paced classroom lectures.
