About Jane

Students would enjoy having me as their science teacher because I make learning meaningful, engaging, and connected to real life. As a Licensed Professional Teacher and a Bachelor of Elementary Education graduate with Latin honors (Cum Laude), I have a strong foundation in effective teaching and child-centered learning.

During my practice teaching at Naalad Elementary School, I gained hands-on experience in planning interactive lessons, managing the classroom, creating learning materials, and assessing students' progress. I believe every child learns differently, so I use differentiated instruction to ensure that all learners feel included and supported.

Beyond the classroom, I have served as a resource speaker and trainer in youth and community programs, particularly on adolescent health, leadership, and life skills. These experiences have strengthened my communication skills and my ability to explain concepts in ways that are easy to understand and relevant to students' lives.

I also continuously improve myself by attending professional development programs, including trainings from the Department of Health (DOH), UNICEF, the University of the Philippines Open University, TESDA, and other educational organizations. These experiences allow me to bring fresh ideas, modern teaching strategies, and educational technology into my classroom.

Most importantly, I want my students to feel excited about learning science. I encourage curiosity, hands-on exploration, critical thinking, and teamwork so that students not only understand scientific concepts but also develop confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love for learning.

About the lesson

As a Licensed Professional Teacher, I use learner-centered and interactive teaching strategies that accommodate different learning styles and abilities. I strive to make complex scientific concepts simple, meaningful, and enjoyable through hands-on activities, collaborative learning, technology integration, and practical applications.

Beyond helping students succeed academically, I aim to develop their problem-solving skills, creativity, environmental awareness, and sense of responsibility. My goal is to inspire every learner to become curious, confident, and lifelong learners who appreciate the importance of science in improving their lives and their communities.
